Embracing the essence of Cape Town's iconic beach parties, we've chosen the vibrant Cabo Beach Club as the venue for this year's "Lusso Sunset".

 

Nestled on the city's picturesque coastline, Cabo offers the perfect blend of scenic beauty and pulsating energy, making it the ideal backdrop for an unforgettable night where music, ocean breezes, and the camaraderie of the community come together under a sky ablaze with the colors of sunset.

Announced artists:

Micasa: Mi Casa, a Johannesburg-based trio, comprises Dr. Duda (producer/pianist), J’Something (vocalist/guitarist), and Mo-T (trumpeter). They united in early 2011 at a Johannesburg lounge, leading to their rapid rise. Their debut album, "Mi Casa Music," achieved gold status shortly after release, earning them numerous accolades at the 18th Annual MTN South Africa Music Awards in 2012.

Kent: DJ Kent, also known as Khensani Mabaso, is more than a performer of South African house music; he's a prolific producer. His solo debut album, "Mixing Business with Pleasure Reloaded," released in 2008, clinched the 2008/2009 SAMA award for 'best urban dance album'. Still in his early twenties, Kent co-owns 88 Productions, his record label, which recently signed notable acts Diamond Dealer from Bloemfontein and Relo from the renowned Skwatta Camp crew.

Jordan Arts: Jordan Arts, a 25-year-old South African/Belgian electronic music producer and multi-instrumentalist, has rapidly gained global acclaim. Since launching his solo career in early 2020, he has performed alongside electronic giants like Joris Voorn and Nora en Pure. Signed with labels including Anjunadeep and Purified Records, his emotionally resonant sound appeals to a diverse audience. His single "Need to Know" featured on Black Coffee's tribute album for Virgil Abloh, marking a significant milestone in his career. With upcoming performances in London and a slew of collaborations, Jordan's trajectory promises a year of monumental releases and growth.

ATMOS BLAQ: Samukelo Shembe, aka Atmos Blaq, a Soweto-born African Electronic Musician, learned music production from his father and developed a unique sound inspired by strings and synths. His debut single 'Till We Meet Again' and subsequent track 'Dyspepsia' gained traction in the house scene, with support from industry icons like Black Coffee.

Dean Fuel: Dean FUEL stands as one of the most accomplished DJs in his hemisphere, skillfully blending diverse electronic genres to create an irresistible dance-floor experience. He effortlessly holds his ground among the world's most respected and influential DJs.

​

Frank Osorio: Frank Osorio brings the rhythmic energy of the world to Cape Town. This Spanish DJ and producer, originally from Malaga, has spun sets across the globe, from the vibrant streets of Mexico City to the pulsing nightlife of Istanbul. Now, Cape Town serves as his summer base, where he undoubtedly injects his sets with the unique energy of this South African city.

Craig De Sousa: Craig De Sousa has been a cornerstone of Cape Town's house music scene since 1996, with a global influence spanning territories worldwide. Known for pioneering successful compilation albums, he's released eight acclaimed collections showcasing local and international talent. As a longtime affiliate of Drop Music and founder of Heads and Tails Music, Craig's impact extends beyond the DJ booth. His prolific media presence includes hosting The Night Watchmen on Goodhope FM for five years, while his performances have graced esteemed events like the T20 World Cup and Champions Trophy. With a diverse resume of remixes, EPs, and studio albums, Craig continues to shape the landscape of South African house music, sharing stages with icons like Deep Dish, Mark Knight, and Sébastien Léger.

Gheko: Formerly known as "Dylan Munro", is driven by a passion for the creative intricacies of the human mind, he delves into an ethereal world of percussive and tribal sounds. With an innate connection to the rhythm, he captivates listeners drawn to the fusion of afro house, melodic techno, and electronica. Emerging as one of South Africa's brightest talents, he's swiftly ascending as one of the nation's most sought-after acts.
